This contractor role is for a Senior Power BI Developer, and the position will work on the SCOR EI initiative. This role will be responsible for making updates to the SCOR Java applications. Updates include changes to business logic, updates to the user interface and business logic as well as extending reporting capabilities to Power BI and the system data model. Supports application enhancements and defect corrections in maintenance mode. Supports applications in multiple environments with coding testing, peer reviews, documentation, defect root cause analysis, and troubleshooting as required. Maintaining code coverage, testing, and security policies and procedures is required. Available for on-call support as needed.

QA automation engineers design automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically. This includes determining the priority for test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios. Designing documentation for automated processes. QA Automation Analyst 3 will be responsible for the development and maintenance of test scripts for both manual and automated testing.

Experience preparing UAT test cases, aligning them with business requirements, and conducting walkthroughs with stakeholders to ensure clarity. Tracks test case execution and provide reporting. Use Jira to log and track defects. Develops and maintains requirements traceability matrices. Must have
experience working in an agile environment. Supports the development team as needed in dev, test, and UAT environments and troubleshoots the defect as required.

• Knowledge of software usability concepts and requirements traceability, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process.
• Knowledge of Xray Test Case management tool
• Knowledge and Proficient in select tracking and management using industry-standard tools such as Jira and systematically log, categorize, and prioritize identified defects, ensuring a clear and organized record of issues throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Knowledge of SQL query writing to perform Create, Read, Update, Delete operations.
• Develop and execute automated test cases to verify authentication processes, user permissions, and roles, ensuring that only authorized users can access specific functions and data.
• Knowledge of code coverage tools, process or systems analysis, and design work.
• QA automation testing and scripting
experience using UFT
• Ability to effectively organize and present complex technical information, both orally and in writing
• Ability to effectively work both independently and with sprint development team members
• Ability to work under pressure under tight time constraints.
