IT Program Manager - Power Platform (VA801336)
Key Responsibilities:

Manage intake, prioritization, and resource allocation for program requests and initiatives.

Provide hands-on support by building or troubleshooting simple Canvas Apps and Power Automate flows when needed.

Support training, workshops, and adoption efforts that empower business users to build apps and flows.

Communicate program status, risks, and recommendations through presentations to leadership.

Establish and maintain governance, best practices, and lifecycle processes appropriate for low?complexity solutions.
-
Oversee technical delivery and review solution approaches to ensure security, compliance, and alignment with standards.
-
Develop and maintain clear documentation and guidance for business users and internal stakeholders.
-
Coordinate with IT, security, and business partners to align solutions with agency goals and policies.
-
Identify risks and issues and implement mitigation plans to maintain delivery stability.
Requirements:
-
7+years of experience in technical program management, product ownership, or enterprise application delivery.

Experience overseeing Microsoft Power Platform.
-
Ability to build or troubleshoot simple Canvas Apps and Power Automate flows.

Demonstrated ability to lead and develop team members while managing both strategy and operations.

Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.

Ability to manage competing priorities and allocate work based on capacity, skills, and organizational needs.

Strong understanding of governance, IT processes, and application lifecycle management.

Experience collaborating with IT, security, and business stakeholders.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem?solving skills.

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, or Dataverse.

Certifications such as Power Platform and Azure.

Experience implementing or supporting governance for low-code/no-code platforms.

Background in user training, adoption, or change management.
-
Experience in public-sector or transportation-focused environments.

Experience leading and managing teams.
