Job Details:

The RMA is seeking to hire an experienced Oracle PL/SQL/Apex developer to continue to support Syndromic Surveillance (SS), a module built within the Georgia State Electronic Notifiable Disease Surveillance System (SendSS).


SendSS, a home-grown system is currently going through a modernization effort and is moving away from PL/SQL and will be redeveloped using Oracle Apex.

The developer will be expected to work with the soon to retire legacy developer of the SS module to fully understand the mechanics, take ownership of the module and continue to support the staff who use it while redesigning the functionality within the Apex Framework.


Required Skills:

System experience in developing applications Required 5 Years
Completion of an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, MIS, engineering, business administration or related field from an accredited college Required


5+ years Oracle PL/SQL programming skills Required 5 Years


5+ years developing web application front ends involving hand coding html, Javascript as well as the use of JavaScript based frameworks Required 5 Years
5+ years' experience with full project lifecycle experience in implementing web-based systems Required 5 Years


Proficient in troubleshooting, self-motivated and driven professional, able to work with minimal supervision, and able to exercise good judgment Required
5+ years' work experience with Oracle RDBMS Required 5 Year
