Key Responsibilities
Technical Delivery & Readiness
- Facilitate day?to?day technical execution across all modernization workstreams, including data conversion, Azure environment buildout, integrations, technical design, testing, and customer?facing components.
- Identify technical risks, issues, and dependencies; develop mitigation plans and ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure integrations, interfaces, and cloud environments are fully prepared for deployment.
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
- Partner with the Modernization Vendor’s Technical Manager to validate readiness of all solution components.
- Represent the State technical team in vendor technical meetings and confirm alignment with DIT/DOT technical standards.
- Work closely with internal teams, field operations, and external partners to ensure technical alignment and timely issue resolution.
Governance & Documentation
- Participate in program meetings to communicate technical decisions, risks, and status.
- Ensure creation, approval, and storage of required technical documentation (designs, test plans, conversion plans, runbooks).
- Support knowledge?transfer activities to ensure State teams can sustain the solution post?implementation.
